The music that made the Fall 2013 shows into real fashion moments.
JEREMY SCOTT: "Girls" by Beastie Boys
Jeremy Scott's out-there collections always warrant a funky beat to match, so it's no wonder that this Beastie Boys track made a cameo on the designer’s runway. As the final single off their debut album, Licensed to Ill, this song was a shout-out to the models and their inimitable strut: "I like the way that they walk," raps Ad-Rock. For Scott, models were punk skater girls, strutting in a uniform of cropped cone-bra tops, miniskirts, sweaters printed with googley-eyed monsters (an inebriated SpongeBob, perhaps) and slogan-emblazoned tees – soundtrack and styling could not have synced more perfectly.
