Pindoll Wreak Vengeance on a Mannequin in "Fed Up"
Latest release from Lebanese indie outfit shows vocalist Erin Mikaelian take a break-up to extremes
Pindoll have released a new video just days before the launch of their debut album, Twisted Times. The black-and-white video is an excellent accompaniment to the sparse instrumentation of "Fed Up." The track begins with a subtly understated guitar line and vocalist Erin Mikaelian bemoaning the state of her relationship. In the video, the 'boyfriend' is played by a mannequin, who stares on impassively while Mikaelian alternatively berates him and apologizes for it. The tense track bursts into a delayed climax as Mikaelian decides to end the relationship for good, after a final fling in the car.
